Mr. Alok Paliwal, Director of International Markets at Vijay Transmission, represented the company while leading the Confederation of Indian Industry business delegation to Togo. The delegation attended the India–Togo Business Forum in Lomé on 6 July 2026 and participated in government and industry engagements aimed at deepening bilateral economic relations.
During the visit, the delegation met senior Togolese officials across the Ministries of Economy and Strategic Monitoring, Finance and Budget, Energy, Investment Promotion, Health and National Education. Discussions focused on trade, investment, development partnerships, educational infrastructure, capacity building and opportunities for sector-specific cooperation.
A dedicated business-to-business session also brought together Indian delegates, Togolese enterprises, government representatives and members of the Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie du Togo. These interactions enabled both sides to exchange ideas, identify potential partnerships and explore new commercial opportunities. The engagement reinforced Vijay Transmission’s commitment to building stronger international partnerships and supporting long-term infrastructure-led growth.
